VBAC Community is please to announce the release of ”Cesarean with a Sibling“!!

Cesarean with a Sibling is a colorful children’s book that describes the changes a child can expect when mommy has a sibling via c-section. The book offers suggestions for activities they can do together while mommy is healing and reinforces that mommy loves them.

From the author:
My first child was born via c-section. In preparing for the birth of my second child, I searched for a ‘new baby’ book that explained how my relationship with my first child would change if I had another c-section. I did not find a book that suited my needs, so I created a childrens book for just this situation.

VBAC help in Southern Indiana

Lora from Bedford Indiana recently contact us:

“Hi I am a mother of 2 beautiful children and pregnant with my 3rd…I had to
have a c-sect with my 1st child because I had pre eclampsia. With my 2nd child I
had no complications they just never offered the VBAC and therefore I never knew
I had another option…With this child I have researched a lot about VBACS and I
really want to try to take that route…I am having a really hard time finding a
dr who will support a VBAC because I have had 2 previous c-sections…

…I do not want to be robbed of my last opportunity to feel like a true mother
and have a vaginal birth…Please help me!!!”

If anyone knows of a supportive midwife or doctor in Souther Indiana, please
let us know so we can help Lora with her VBAC journey!
